Which jeep should I choose for Mustang?
For hill roads and rough routes such as Mustang, Rara or Ilam, choose a 4x4 with good ground clearance, like the Fortuner, Pajero, Hilux or Land Cruiser, and we recommend booking it with a driver.
Can I rent a jeep with a driver?
Yes. Every jeep can be booked with an experienced local driver for Rs 2,500 a day. On overnight trips, the driver's meals and lodging are arranged by you.
Do I need a driver for mountain roads?
We recommend one. Mountain roads in Nepal can be narrow, unpaved and hit by landslides, especially in the monsoon, and our drivers know the routes and the conditions.
How many people fit in a jeep?
It depends on the model: the Jimny and Thar LX seat four, the Hilux and Thar Roxx five, and the Fortuner, Pajero, Bolero and Land Cruisers seven.
